Karl Miller Center

The renovation and addition of the Karl Miller Center at Portland State University were designed by a collaboration between SRG and Behnisch Architekten. The school features a five-story glass atrium with spaces designed for students to gather throughout. There are classrooms, advising offices, group study rooms, conference rooms, a green room, and a family play space, as well as three retail spaces. The center achieved a LEED Platinum designation with its five eco-roofs, innovative water management, and natural ventilation. TECTUM^® Direct-Attach ceiling panels from Armstrong are used throughout, providing a durable, sustainable, acoustical solution.
