For the renovation of the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art in Helsinki, the architect revived the original design by using Fellert’s acoustical plaster for the ceilings and walls, rather than bulky acoustical panels. The custom color of Fellert’s acoustical plaster is integrated into the material, though it can be painted with acoustical paint several times without losing acoustical performance.
