The core is constructed of dimensionally-stable 6-7 PCF fiberglass board, laminated with a layer of ⅛” 16-20 PCF molded fiberglass, covered with a specially-formulated fiberglass scrim, and finished with paint. The acoustically transparent finish completely covers the face and exposed edges. Edges are protected with a resin hardening.
